Meh. Same bike they have been pushing better than 10 years now. Slightly different tanks, change the paint, rinse, repeat......

No wonder HD is failing. They're the new GM. Just take a 2002 pickup, throw a few more frame sections and new powerplants and call em NEW MODELS! GTFOH

too much redundancy. Just make the iron standard with 1200. Actually make all the sportsters 1200s and dump the 883. If you want a beginner bike, buy the street 500 or 750.

In conclusion, swing and another miss.

From an article I read online: The Iron 1200 and Forty-Eight Special are the latest models to be introduced as part of Harley’s effort to introduce 100 new “high-impact” models by 2027.

That's just flat-out sad!

I actually like the "AMF" paint, but I hate the bars. The 1200 Iron with some drag bars would be pretty cool, but it sure-as-hell ain't a "new model" Sportster.

The "new" Iron is just a reboot of the Nightster with its fork gaiters and blacked-out bits. Pretty lame calling it a new model, Harley.

New shade of lipstick on the same pig. I do like the new paint though.

I'm thinking I would like the 1200 iron with the 48 handle bars. And the 48 special might should have gotten the street bob/breakout instrument on bar speedometer.
