Default Greetings...advice on M8

Hey fellow HD fans. I’ve had a 2000 Deuce since 99, and I’m ready for something new.
Any commentary on the 2016 liquid cooled motor compared to the M8 engine would be appreciated.
Trying to decide between a Used 16, or a new 18.
Thanks for any input
keep the shiny side up !

Would you say the new motor is worth a $8K price difference?
I'm looking as a 2016 Road Glide, loaded, 4K miles for $25K, or a new RG, stage 1 and some other goodies for about $33K

Welcome from the southwestern part of Colorado. I love my M8, but the '16 is a great machine and it's hard to argue the price savings.

Get the used one until HD irons out the teething issues on the M8.

which road glide are you getting for $25k? an ultra prices out at about $22,500 retail, so if it is a fltrx or fltrxs, you are definitely getting gouged on pricing. doesn't really matter what options are on it, guaranteed they didn't pay the previous owner for them when he traded it in.

i would look at another dealer. seems both prices are high to me.

My thoughts exactly. There are some deals to be had out there, new and late model used.
