Default Chopped FatBoy Fenders

Has anyone ever chopped their fatboy fenders?

I was rear ended on my '06 FatBoy
about ten months ago and my rear fender was bent. I had about 3 or 4 inches cut off the end which was enough to take off the bent area removing the duck tail portion. The front fender wouldn't match now so I had about 3 inches cut off it at the rear end. The '18 FatBoy front fender is shorter than older ones so now mine looks more like an '18.

I did think about cutting the rear of my front fender to suit my rear fender, which isn't stock, it's a phatail fender. I haven't done it, it thought it may look odd. But like you say, I then seen the 2018 one and it's the same.
I would be interested in seeing a picture of your cut front fender on the bike.

I'll post pics when we get it back on the bike but I think it's going to look good. The fenders are the only thing I have never been crazy about on the FarBoy. Just don't like the retro duck tail look.

Just finished cutting the front fender. Hope to have color on tomorrow.
