Bending metal fuel line. HELP!

Yeah...that’s true. It’s gonna be tough to properly bend such a short piece.

Re-bendintg the line pictured using heat would cause damage to the flexible portion ... DO NOT APPLY HEAT

Use the plastic pulley...GO SLOW...cut the pulley out afterwards with hack saw

A tubing bender. No heat.
As stated any force without a bender for proper support will cause it to kink or crease.

OP - did you change something up or is that not the hose for your bike?

Fill the tube full with sand prior to bending, this prevents kinks and collapses.

Filling the tube probably won't work. When the filler (use something water soluble like salt) gets under pressure the rubber section will just expand & the tube will kink like there's nothing in it.

If the fitting on the end has the same ID as the tube, or larger, I've had good results with sliding a tight wound coil spring inside the tube, bending it then removing the spring. The spring needs to be pretty stout, and closely sized to the tube.

Hi all, thanks for your thoughts I read all with interest.
Got them into shape my the pully idea, didnt use pully but a round edge.
Just needed a slight bend and works like a charm.
