the loudest exhaust for dyna?
Because this guy hates it and maybe i need to put on something louder

What I think is that the exhaust is open, so it cant be any louder right? But then this video makes me wonder if his bike is louder than mine?

 

Question that come to my mind is- why? All a really loud exhaust does is **** people off and cop magnet. Also **** of your neighboors. Not to mention give you a headache after a while. Don't get me wrong, I love me some loud exhaust on bikes! Just within reason of course.

Nobody wants to be "that guy" right?

 

Vance and Hines Big Shots are loud too. I installed V&H Quiet Baffles and they're still too loud. Wish I kept my stock pipes.

 

I have V&H pipes and they can be loud if I "get on it" when I take off from a stop. But I've had the police on all sides of me, sitting, taking off and moving...nothing.

 

V&H Big Radius are loud as ****, too. The sound waves bounce back right up at you off the ground.

 

Big Shots on my FB were loud. Straight Shots on my wife's Sportster are loud. Short Shots on a friend's Sportster were really loud. Just the design of the pipes.

 

Maybe you should get the Side Shots. I think they look sweet and I'm sure your neighbors will they they purr like a kitten. Lol.

I don't mind my Short Shots at all with a quiet baffle. Never heard any criticism from anyone behind me either.

 

 

My wife has the V&H Big Shots on her '08 Heritage and she's never had a complaint from anyone.

We live in what we call a "country sub" but even still, I don't often start our bikes before our neighbors are usually up or gone to work but if ad when I do, I "start and go" and let my bike "chug" down our private road 'till I get to the main county road.

 

I have Big Radius fitted and they don't come close to Grenades IMHO. When 'pouring on the gas' I have to agree that Grenades are the loudest I've heard too? They almost make your ears bleed!
