I found a TEARDROP SHAPE silicone self stick weatherseal at home depot , and removed the stock gasket from my fairing , and then put it on. IT is 1/4 thick 1/2 inch wide and hollow . I also put it on my 3 pouch windshield bag to seal it against the windshield (hated the dirt that builds in there ) it is made by frost king is pure silicone they say on the package it will not crack ,harden ,or freeze. price was $18.00 for a 20' roll , There is no more gap and will see how it works , it has to be better than the stock gasket !!! it has a adhesive strip , and easy to put on .

Does anyone know where to get extended windshield bolts? Those damn things are just short enough to not work with the T-Bags windshield bag

 

Any hardware store should have button head stainless 1/4-20s in any length you want.
