Default microfiber towels....good deal - 30 for $9.99

Am no expert on detailing, but I try to pick up some of these on sale here and there. (I'm not a towel expert )

30 pack at Walmart....price was marked $12.44 at the display, but they rang up for $9.99, unsure why.

Good deal to check out at WM if you have one nearby.

I’d say it depends. There are microfiber towels and microfiber towels. I’ve found quality can vary widely, especially at the low price end.

Still, I might give them a shot if I didn’t already have a pile of them at home.

I've learned that these are true words...at least to me. I was in the auto body supply shop and was talking to a guy with many, many years of auto body experience...and he told me that the less expensive microfibers would actually put minute scratches in the finish...however, he swore by Meguiars towels. And obviously, there are many other equivalent quality towels around. I have taken his advice, and I have a dozen Meguiars towels for those special tasks.

That said, there is a place for the less expensive towels in the shop. Thanks for this info, OP, that's a great deal!

I have a pile too, but over time they get destroyed etc.

For the price....

I use these for cleaning.
I wash these after use if they are not too soiled.

That's a pretty decent deal. Even if they aren't that durable or the highest quality.

Those towels would only be used on interiors, wheels, stuff like that. Never ever would I put those on the paint of any of my customers rides, or mine.
Big difference in MF towels. Cheap ones are cheap for a reason

It’s important that you don’t wash microfiber towels with any other laundry. Once you wash them with other clothes the microfiber becomes clogged with residual particles and are not as effective.
