Secret homepage welder, do you think that guy welding on the frame needs a little ventilation on the job !

The hell with the ventilation get your big *** head out of the fume cloud...the jig would be handy though lol. I've been welding for over 30 years in shops, mills, factories , power plants , mig, tig ,stick you get the idea...and not once , not even for a minute did I ever wear an apron...sorry ladies but if you have an apron on you belong in the kitchen baking me a damn pie not "welding" a frame that's going to get someone killed.

Ill add that even if it was in a jig for most of the welding if he can't weld out of position for the last bit of it he probably shouldn't be welding something that someone's life depends on. A little grinding, a little paint will make this welder what he aint

There are welders, then there are WELDERS. I can stick a non critical part together on the farm have for years. But when it come to something that as you say may cost a life I have no problem paying someone that is a WELDER.
Just did that last week I made a part to replace a lower Sidecar mount. Did heck of a job designing it cutting peaces fitting . But when it came to welding it . Rode to town and had a man that has done it for many do his thing.
