Ha Ha,
That did not take long for someone to bite!
No BS this is one really cool place. A great ride and you will not be disappointed in the food. Sandwich’s, chicken wings, excellent pizza, fantastic Chili even a special today with baked Speghetti!
Okay, here you go and please don’t tell anyone because it only seats about 20 people inside and maybe 20 people outside. No lie there were cars there to day from six different states as far away as New York and PA!
Todd General store established in 1897. DBA now as “Buffalo Mercantile Company” in beautiful Buffalo Cove, NC.
Off Hwy 421 just south of Wilkesboro, NC take Hwy 268 West for about 16 miles. Turn right on Elk Creek Darby Road. You will go right past Riders Roost Motorcycle Resort. Go approximately 10 miles down a wonderful curving road along a beautiful river with a couple of switchbacks. The road ends and curves left and becomes Buffalo Cove Road. The store and restaurant is immediately on the right. I suggest you park across the street at Buffalo Cove Baptist Church which is paved parking. When you leave continue on Buffalo Cove Road back to Hwy 268, it is GREAT!
You can thank me later!
