Had been thinking on replacing the stock rear shocks on the King. Read a lot on here and other places. Sent emails of inquiry to a couple suppliers. While all replied, I decided to try the Ohlins.
Howard at "Motorcyclemetal" took my call on a Holiday, took the time to listen to the direction I was wanting to go and then suggested a shock he felt would best suit the situation. Followed up by emailing me
great shock information and detailed instructions for installation. Three days later I had the shocks on the scooter and tweaked in.
While down I adjusted the drive belt and clutch and then down the road for a short 30 mile tryout. I really like the results.
If you're looking for replacement shocks you should consider giving them a call.

Howard's a good dude, I bought my Ohlins from him a few years ago. From a phone call, listening, asking and answering a few questions and reading his site you can learn a lot about shocks
