Default Day bag on HD quick release rack

The bag has a wide Velcro strap on the bottom. On the front and on the back are click straps on both the left side and the right. (These straps are long)

Is there a particular way to attach to the rack? Are some of these straps to attach to other bags?

I wind the straps around the backrest and pull tight then I use bungee cords through the handle and attach to other points at the rear of the bike. The newer backrest for the 18 and up Softails is too narrow to hold the bag in place

Thank you. Bungies is a great idea. Would keep me from thinking about the bag all the time. I could just ride confident.....

Rok Straps +1.

Besides velcro straps, I always use extra 4 Roc straps to secure the bag,

2 Rok straps attach from front d-rings to front bolts of the fender and 2 straps attach from rear d-rings to the rack.
