Ideally, it'd be a 3 day deal but I know it's hard for people who work to get that kind of time off. A day to get there, socialize that night, do the tour the next day, a little riding and then another day to get home. I'd personally extend that another day on the end to get a good day of riding in the area. It's only 8 hours for me to get there.

Yep. Went last year toward the end of June. They were shutting the tours down within a couple of weeks for the new styles. Highly recommend the tour tho. Really is incredible to see. If you're in the area, Gettysburg isn't far from there. We rode there too and rode around the battlefields. Very surreal but awesome.

We went there a couple of years ago, stayed at the Days Inn & Suites, about 1/2 mile from the factory. A good feeder restaurant is the Round The Clock, kitty -corner from the hotel. Battlefield HD was pretty nice, if you can ride parallel to US 30 when in and around Gettysburg, it can get crazy.

I rode up in September of 2009 for the open house and got the quick abbreviated tour. Took the wife back in 2016 for the steel toe and it was excellent. She actually has commented that she would like to go back again! It was a good trip as we also went to Gettysburg and then up to the Ford Nationals.
