Default Steel Toe Tour

My wife got us the tour for a bday present along with other gifts. REALLY impressed at the York plant. They really stress quality. They make Trike,Street Glides & Road King. Closing KC plant and going to produce all HD at York. We live 1 1/2Hr east. If your in the area or plan I recommend getting tickets. Need reservations.

I agree, well worth the extra cost. We went a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed it. Funny this thread came up. We got our tickets for this upcoming Friday tour, can’t wait!

I went on the regular one years ago, pretty cool. I found it interesting that some were union, while others weren't. Talked to a few of the employees, their biggest issue was the off shore parts coming in for them to assemble.

I’m gonna take a day off and go to the tour. I’m about 50 minutes away and have never been. The stars just never seem to align

I wonder if there is enough interest here to do a HDF Steel Toe get together?

I went last summer for the open house and it was great. I loved taking my bike back to the mothership and seeing where/how it was built.

I’d definitely be down for that

I'm definitely headed over there, sooner rather than later. Let me do some recon on this. Does anybody happen to know the general time of year that they have the Open House over there? (Demo rides and such)

Great tour!

Just a heads up. Don't bother to go a month or so before a new model year is being introduced, which is usually August. They do a very limited tour so you can't see the next year's models/paint/changes.
