Looking to buy a 2018 road glide ultra wondering what the best price to try to get it for is I'm in Pennsylvania
with the way harley is doing right now it should be a buyers market and should get a great deal

My dealerships around here weren't worried. I had to wrestle a decent deal. Maybe its different back east?

 

Harley's rarely get discounted, there are factory incentives around july/august before the new year hits the showroom. I try to negotiate on trade ins value and add on accessory discounts. If you can wait a couple of months, Harley will start doing some sort of incentive on the 2018 models.

 

Agree with Kojak for current model years....may not be the best time to get a deal...BUT you never know until you ask..personally If I was looking now Id wait until the 19s were out and either score one of those or work a deal on a leftover.....but you wouldnt be riding this summer!!! If I HAD to...26 OTD is what I would shoot for...with tax, driving..
2017s should be getting good dealer $$..But Factory money is gone...Have seen some discussion in the last few days of a $1500 factory coupon being circulated thru email..I haven't received one yet...When I was shopping I emailed a few dealers in my area, Patriot, Quantico, Fort Washington, Bull Run...told them what I was ready to spend and went with the one that beat the other...ended up being 1K difference, no brainer.

I had a much different experience. I'm not the only one so Beware. You're buying new. You should be ok. But I'd go to Appalachia harley. Half hour north. 4 of my friends have purchased there in the last 3 years. Awesome dealership. Once they seen what BFHD did to me they shopped elsewhere.

Someone just posted $1500 off rebates...

 

According to flyer I got in the mail, $1500 off touring, trike and softails. Offer ends 6/30/18. This is for all 2017 and 2018s.

 

If Harleys are not selling well you would not know it from my dealer. They are really moving the 2018s. You CAN get great deals on gently used 2017s, 2016s and the like. A lot of guys upgrading to the M8 engine.
I got my Road King for MSRP but they would not go below that. I did get a few extras.
