HDF Member dying
I met David through thi forum. Needed some help with a problem on his Road King. I came to know him over a period of months thru phone calls back and forth. About eleven yrs ago David had a lung transplant. The last couple yrs his body began to reject his transplanted lungs. More and more time in the hospital. He rigged his RK to charge his oxygen generator. Last week is most likely his last ride.
David and his family could use some prayers. Death appears to be imminent for him. I've never heard a word of complaint or any poor me from this man He is a stand up man and I am proud to call him friend. His handle here is davlyo. That's allI have for now. Thank you in advance,
Jim

It sounds like he has had a good/great life with lots of supportive family members and friends.
Not much more to ask for than that except for a painless, peaceful passing and that those around him can accept his passing as the final part of his life.
We are ALL dying (gradually) so the objective is to make the most of the approximately twenty-some thousand days that we are given but NOT guaranteed.
We have a local radio celebrity that uses a saying on his show (almost everyday) that goes like this; "Yesterday was a gift, tomorrow is a promise, today is a gift, go out and enjoy your gift"!

Doc's said a transplant would do no good. The same problems would result with in same situation. Last 2 weeks he has been home about 5 days or so. I wish I knew many more like David. So much more to say, I just con't do it right now. It's up to God now.
