I admire anyone who has an idea and is willing to put in the work to make it a reality. Doesn't matter much if their idea isn't something I personally would have done. That's not the point. Most guys with ideas never start building them. Most of the guys who start building never finish.
Anyone who takes an idea to the finish line has my respect.

To me it's like admiring someone who had the tenacity to bang his head into a wall until he's unconscious. There is no doubting the effort and perseverance involved. But why?

While I agree to a certain extent, there is such a thing as an ill conceived notion with a poor execution. It's hard for me to respect effort of any kind when the end result is that hideous. And I'm not talking, not to my taste hideous. I'm talking 99/100 agree because it looks like dog **** hideous.

I see your reasoning and don't disagree. BUT-------if you take 1% of 200,000 guys that is still a respectable number.
