Found an old 78 LowRider Shovelhead for sale
 

I found this little beauty over near my father in laws house in Ilion NY.
Its a 78 Low Rider in fairly decent condition for a bike with as manymiles and years on it.
The sign says the guy wants $8000 for it, but I'll betif you try you could get it for a bit less. Just wish I had the extra cash to grab it. Winters are way too long around hereso it would make a nice project bike for the snow season.

I'd buy it. Just sold my Sportster for $8000, that doesn't sound bad at all. Too bad I'm in Kansas

The guy I talked to about it was just a friend who was putting it on his lawn for the owner. But he said the engine had been rebuilt not too long ago and might even have been enlarged. But he wasn't sure exactly when it had been done or how big it was. Its been back and forth to Stirgus and maybeDaytonacouple of times. Soa lot of the mileage isgood long range stuff andnot 41K oflocal bar hoping that can ruin a good bike.

Not for $8000,if your really interested I would offer $5500, to $6000 no more.You can get a late 90's for that cash,plus lets not forget the AMF years.

IMO, even 5k is too much.
