It’s going to depend on seat height, weight & price. They certainly sorted out the Ugly part. But ugly don’t really matter. They will not take away many GS riders. And I doubt the rest of the ADV builders are rushing out new iron to replace their current crop.

If it fits, I will consider it.

In order to sell something there has to be an interest, harley buyers spoke with the wallet at the time they wanted the traditional look and feel of Harley Davidson. While a decent idea Buell was a case of very bad timing and iffy styling. Just didn't appeal to the larger public.

I think it looks great. Like others have said, weight and price. I'm looking to either add another bike to my two harley touring bikes or get rid of one. Was planning on a different brand (obviously). This might keep me around for a new HD.

Ditto that. Bring something like an updated EG Standard back, and you'll get my money.

Can’t wait for the over priced Harley-Davidson branded Adventure gear to hit the racks.

But to be honest most of the ADV segment is very ugly too...

They did a great job design wise for the other ones (street fighter, custom and livewire) but this one kinda hurts to look.
Hope it performs and they can expand the line with other looks.
It doesn't matter what it looks like to adventure riders, I don't think. We are used to looking at Chrome and all things shiny. The adventure riders are looking at Power, Electronic modes, and reliability. Beauty is different to them compared to the way we look at it.

It looks good in the picture. The devil's in the details so to speak. If that is a v-rod engine, I wonder if it would make the right kind of power.

Typical replies from biased HD owners. Nothing wrong with expanding their market. The ADV market is huge with manufacturers getting into it every year. Buell had one with the Ulysses and itt was a hit. I’ve wanted a GS1200A for years but never pulled the trigger. Can’t wait to see the new bikes hit the market. Also, good on HD for showing future models. First I can remember them doing that.

I really think the Road King as as close as you'll ever see. Fairing is the only difference.
