Their concept bike looks totally Japanese. Looks like Harley threw the towel in finally. But I must say the bike looks good. Surely not HD-like but impressive sport bike for sure.

Well, the Japanese have copied stuff from Harley -- like stuff on the Goldwing. Why shouldn't HD do the same when appropriate? Works for me.

OMFG... they haven't even come off the drawing board, and the "purists" are already dissatisfied.

It's called "survival" for a company whose primary business is making American motorcycles. Personally, I'm pleased.

oh, would you can it? The first thing they say in their release is:

  • Extending the company’s leadership in heavyweight motorcycles by continuing to develop improved, more technologically-advanced Touring and Cruiser motorcycles that will keep existing Harley-Davidson riders engaged and riding longer.
The cruisers and baggers are never going away. Don't throw the toys out of your crib just because they've decided they'd like to keep existing as a company and need to go after new customers.

Japanese copy? Street fighter market is more of a European bike demographic(Ducati, KTM, Triumph...). Either way, if it rides half as good as it looks I'd be down to add it to my garage.

Honda, Kawa, Suzuki, etc would never survive is all they built were V twin cruisers targeted at the specific American big displacement market. They think on a global scale.

Don't throw the toys out of your crib just because they've decided they'd like to keep existing as a company and need to go after new customers.

I guess you can't read very well ha? I said HD has finally come to their senses that if they don't remarked their business plan they're toast.. I also stated I like this bike's looks and a 1200 engine water cooled would be a big turn HD is making to sell to a younger crowd. Your childish crib remark sounds like you're a Trumpster. But that wouldn't surprise me one bit.

OMFG... they haven't even come off the drawing board, and the "purists" are already dissatisfied.

Dissatisfied? Who said anything about being dissatisfied? I said HD is doing what it has to do to survive and I for one like this bike's looks/specs
