Default Buyers Remorse

Buyer's remorse is the sense of regret after having made a purchase. It is frequently associated with the purchase of an expensive item such as a vehicle or real estate.Buyer's remorse is thought to stem from cognitive dissonance, specifically post-decision dissonance, that arises when a person must make a difficult decision, such as a heavily invested purchase between two similarly appealing alternatives. Factors that affect buyer's remorse may include: resources invested, the involvement of the purchaser, whether the purchase is compatible with the purchaser's goals, feelings encountered post-purchase that include regret.
It seems that buyers remorse is a common feeling among we Harley riders.

I endure a little buyer's remorse to save myself a lot of what I'll call "miser's regret".

That's what happens when you pass by that cheaper alternative sitting in your garage and hate it a little more each time.

I've never had buyers remorse with any motorsicle...but I have had marriage remorse, it's very expensive and painful.

I would have buyer's remorse, because I think the new bikes are overpriced. That's why I'm sticking with my '03.

I was told recently that Harley is not going to reduce the MSRP's for their bikes. I was told that the MSRP's for their bikes will continue to go up. I was told what Harley will do is, we will have to pre-order our bikes and wait until it is manufactured.(At least that is the way I understood what I was told)
