I've ridden in a hell of a lot hotter temps that 95°, and never came close to cooked inner thigh. Hell, I'm running dual's, with the cross over going over not under, and that combined with my rear cylinder still isn't miserable.
Maybe soon their will be a low mileage Scoot on the market in N. Florida...

As I get accustomed to my first Harley and find out it’s differences to some of the other bikes that I have owned I now discover something else....cooked inner right thigh. Ok, so it was 95 degrees on the interstate yesterday but dam, that air cooled motor gets hot! Had to spread my right leg outward to keep from getting toasted. Any hotter and I may have had roasted nuts to go along with it. Not a complaint but an observation.

Were you wearing shorts? I ride a softail, which gets much hotter than other Harleys due to the placement of the engine and a lower seating position and I have not had a problem, even with recent 100 degree weather as long as I am wearing a pair of jean pants. I can however, feel the heat rising from the rear cylinder at a stop, but not enough to bother me.

After much searching I see that I am not the only one with this heat issue. Ordered the FL ViEd 10 O2 harness and will remove the cat. Should cool things down a bit.
Update: installed the FL ViED o2 harness from DK and took the bike out for about 100 miles. I guess there is a learning curve for the ECM but at around the 50 mile mark the bike felt like it was running a bit better. Decel popping dropped significantly and the exhaust sounded a bit deeper. Heat was reduced to tolerable levels too. Next move will be to remove the cat. Much more enjoyable today. Although the thigh still was heated it was no where near as bad as last time.
