It's not all about stats on a piece of paper. Anyone who judges bikes this way is an idiot. I had my 114 for 5 months and i never found it lacking. It might not be up to much on a track, but out in the real world it's excellent.

Maybe you have already covered this, but, seat of the pants, how does your "S" compare to your Breakout as far as acceleration and all around performance?

Less than 78 RWHP and 109 pound foot of torque is miserable for a 114 CI/1.86L engine. It's criminal to attach the word "performance" to anything that weak in the knees. That's the equivalent of a pair or running shoes on somebody's great grandpa who uses a walker with tennis ***** on the back legs.

LOL! Better not line up against a $14,999 Indian scout FTR 1200S at Horsepower 120 HP (89.5 kW)
Peak Torque 85 ft-lb (115.2 Nm)
https://www.indianmotorcycle.com/en-us/ftr1200-s/
Might want to avoid vrods, Vmaxs, Diavels, Triump Rockets, Honda Valkarys or even Gold Wings.
Great job HD for selling such a performance cruiser. How much will buyers have to pay after marked up MSRP to actually get some performance?

Seat of the pants, my Dyna feels faster..., but it isn't. The Breakout is just so smooth, it's deceptive. The Dyna is much more raw. Unless you spend all your time riding mountain roads or race tracks, there really isn't a massive difference in performance between the two. What one gains on the straights, the other gains through the twisties. They are quite different to ride, i'm still adjusting to the Low Rider S and have few changes to make before i'm really comfortable on it.

I rode an R1 that would blow the side covers off a FXDR and for a lot less money. But I don't give a **it. That's about all the R1 had going for it.
It needed a rebuild at31K. Was uncomfortable as hell. Had no soul whatsoever. Looked like it should only cost about a quarter of what a Haley costs. But if that's what a person wants, fine. Go buy it.
I would take the FXDR for 21K in a second over it.
It's fast enough to give this old fart a thrill. Fit and finish that makes a crotch rocket look like a cheap toy. And it will still be worth something 10 years down the road.
