I think you mean a S2-350. I had one of those back then. I machined the heads and ported the cylinders, the power used to come on wicked hard at 5500 rpm.
When the bike was cold, it didn't like to rev out, when it finally cleared it's throat you'd better be quick on the throttle or it would flip right over if you were in first or second.
I loved the sound of that old triple!!

That was going ot be my next question. How many miles does it take to count as a year of riding? I only started riding in 2010, but I know I've logged more miles than any of my friends that have been riding two or three times as long.

Then why mention it? (miles)

Coming up on 50 years, but then I might have to subtract a few for when I was overseas.

I bought my first bike in 72. I was 14 and bought a brand new XR75. Nearly caused my parents a divorce. Dad said it's his money, he can buy what he wants. Then on to the Elsinore. In 1980 bought a brand new 850 Special. That started the road trip. I'm 60 now and going to a hare scramble this weekend. Although I taking up auto cross and about to hang up the dirt bike thing. Just got back from a road trip last week, I can still get in 700 mile days without issue. Hope to ride till I die. The wind as you know is the best therapy.

Started riding dirt bikes probably 52 yrs ago, street bikes for the last 42 years. First street bike that I owned outright was a new 400cc Honda Hawk (manual trans) I rode that thing over much of the US and a small part of Mexico and Canada, and to work as often as possible when I had steady employment. Back then riding in Mexico was fairly safe, not like some of the reports I hear in the news now. I put I think around 57 thousand miles on it before selling it and buying a used 4 cylinder Kawasaki 650 with 15K miles. I think the odometer said 78K when I sold it and bought a used Sportster, then a used Electra Glide. I've put about an additional 20K on the Sportster and about an additional 18K on the Electra Glide. I also owned a Triumph for a short while awhile back in the day, but never put much miles on it. I've experienced riding a wide variety of motorcycles for short periods and distances, almost all of them being electric start but not all of them.

I've enjoyed all the old pics and stories.
I got my endorsement in '78 and my first car was a 77 KZ650.
a few years of no bikes but always kept the endorsement active to date.
I wish I was handed the passion for bikes from grandfather or father, uncles.
but you start somewhere. My kids and grandkids know papa rides.
my dick swinging looks like a stack of buttons these days but still love the breeze regardless.
