Who has the most tenure in the seat?
I'm 61 and have been riding since I was 16 which is 45 years (47 if you count mini bikes and go carts). First bike, Yamaha 180 street bike.

47 years since I had a Zundapp dirt bike, then a Honda cb350. 44 years ago since I bought a 2 year old Sportster. Had Harleys ever since, except 'poor' year when I rode a Honda 500 special.
|
Only 29 years on street bikes (not gonna count dirt bikes), so I am still a newbie!
|
I only have 38 on street bikes.

Bought my first street bike (Honda CB650) in ‘79. Had mini bikes & dirtbikes since about ‘72. So that’s what, 46 years on 2 wheels and 39 on the street? No idea how many miles, though... |
This is difficult to determine. Sometimes 'years' is not indicative of 'seat time'. Some people live in areas where the weather, road conditions, etc. are more conductive to riding a motorcycle.

First Motorcycle Honda 90 Scrambler I was 15 now 65 will be 66 in December have a 2017 Triglide my 6th Harley, first Harley was a new 1975 AMF 1200 Sporster.

43 years on my own motorcycles. 45 if you count Dad taking me all over the place on the back seat of his Norton Commando. I'm only 51. Can't remember if I got a bicycle first or a motorcycle. 8 years old I got a minibike with a lawnmower engine. After that a lot of motocross bikes, at 16 I got an 82 Yamaha 920 Virago, first street bike. Like many of you, many bikes, many miles and many smiles.
Dad doesn't ride anymore but I think his first bike was a Cushman Eagle circa 1951, there abouts. Gramps never road motorcycles but he broke horses when he was a kid and had few. |
First ride was a Cushman in 1964. Someone will come along and beat that...
