Just a thought but if you have to grip that tight some thing doesn't seam right with your throttle maybe? Too stiff should be able to role the throttle with no grip at all.. Holding the bars with next to no grip at all (except in panic mode)..
Just my thoughts, my bike, my ride stile,

P.S. Change those grips

Install real grips, made out of rubber, installed with safety wire.

And wear real gloves. Armored leather motorcycle gloves.

Years ago, I used to wear gloves that were made out of cowhide and after they started getting older and stiffer, I started loosing a little bit of grip also. When I switched over to gloves made out of deerskin, the problem stopped. The deerskin gloves have stayed more pliable than the cowhide gloves ever did.

Too much smooth metal on those grips. Can you put them in a lathe and knurl them ?

Get a little sand or dirt and work it between the gloves. The sand will knock of the sheen and you should get a better grip.

Are you the only Canadian without hockey tape? Wrap it in the winter, pull off in the summer. Use steam to get the glue off. Or some grip tape. Or new grips.

LOL, I never thought of grip tape. Might be able to make some little diamonds or something. I like the grips and the cheap motorcycle gloves work fine. (even the other morning @ 1*C, but they are ventilated , so too cold)
I do also have a pair of insulated gauntlets, but had left them home that day.

The welding gloves are so gosh darn comfy and I've been wearing them for 40+ years as all around work gloves, that I hate to give them up. (old habits)

Good idea about the oils, wax, dirt/sand...I'll try some of those ideas guys..thanks

Hey Man...I assure you I am no baby. I don't think babies ride at 33*F, do they?....also the leather on my OTHER gloves grip the grips just fine. How often do you do that in WCF?
Try this product, good for leather, I use it on my gloves, boots, and car leather seats.

Thanks. I think I'll also try to find some grip tape and cut some diamond shapes out of it, just to add to the grippiness ( is that a word? lol) of the right grip. There's a lot of chrome on it.

Appreciate it guys. Lotsa good ideas.
