I am trying to find the correct Starter for this bike, it theirs anyone knows where can i buy the right starter for this bike its 1989 FLHTP Police model 1340cc engine Thank you

Try this link to the Parts Catalog for all 1987 - 1990 1340cc models. It looks like all 1989 models used the same starter

The 89-93 starter from the part number above is virtually non existent...the 94-06 starter is common, and the only difference is the bolt that holds the starter drive on.

Starters that say they fit 89-06 will have the bolt included. If buying an aftermarket starter pay attention to where the wire connections are.

High quality starters are stupid expensive...might want to take yours to a local rebuild shop
