Secret Service Still Buying Harleys

The US Secret Service will continue to use Harley Davidson motorcycles as is evident by a recent request for a new bike.

 

I might be wrong but those logos on the fairings looks like US Capital Police and not US Secret Service emblems.
I realize these bikes are mainly used for slow ride parades by capital cops, a side hack cop bike is about as useful as carrying a cement block while swimming.

 

 

Way to go, CCE. It was supposed to be a secret.

 

I think you're right on the emblems in the picture. Typical of the CCE though... posting pictures unrelated to their article.

The USSS did put a request in for one H-D though, with the police package.

The single one picture is definitely not Secret Service. It's DC Metro police. I can't tell who belongs to the first picture of the group with sidecars.

Edit: I just zoomed in on the first picture and those are DC Metro PD too.

 

Its all fake news. Nothing in print is real anymore.

 

I toured the Tomahawk facility where they made them not long before the discontinued the side cars. They were making 3 a week. Once the trikes came out no one was buying side cars.

That's why they were discontinued

 

Supposedly from what i read, they requested a new SINGLE bike...not a fleet. As others have said, prob fake news lol!
