Dealer called me today, first time I since I bought the '13 Roadie new from them. They are having a performance class for owners, my question for them was "is this for the M8's " uh, yea but maybe I can get something from it. And I can check out the new bikes with 2.9% rates. Uh, yea I'll think about it.

Very NICE. We will be in York tomorrow for the open house. I hope they have as good of selection to demo. I really want to ride the new Fat Boy and the FXDR114.

Unfortunately it’s not an afterthought. It has to be designed that way to adhere to the NHTSA standards. I remember this from my sport bike days, that the fender must reach out past the tire and have “x” number of signal lights and reflectors. That’s why the fender eliminators are so popular with the SS crowd.

The new bikes look great.
I rode the livewire a couple of years ago and it was pretty impressive. Not something I'd buy but really cool nonetheless.
Was the Livewire there?

Yes, makes no sense not to offer the Sport Glide with the 114. It's definitely one of the best bikes in the current Harley lineup, and if it gets the 114 i may well consider trading in a couple of years time. If Harley made a CVO version, in the same Burnt Forest colour as the Street Glide with a 117, i'd already be on my way to the dealer.

A black Sport Glide with top load bags, dual disks, in a 114 and I would be very tempted. I love those wheels. I've never used clamshell bags but they look very limited for use. It looks very practical, traditional, and performance orientated. Strangely enough you don't hear about them often.

I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the FXDR.

Nope, no buzzbikes anywhere. This was all current production models.

I had a good long look at one of those Sport Glides, but I also found it was missing just a little bit in enough places to make me pass. Now I want to try a 48.
