Dealer called me today, first time I since I bought the '13 Roadie new from them. They are having a performance class for owners, my question for them was "is this for the M8's " uh, yea but maybe I can get something from it. And I can check out the new bikes with 2.9% rates. Uh, yea I'll think about it.

Unfortunately it’s not an afterthought. It has to be designed that way to adhere to the NHTSA standards. I remember this from my sport bike days, that the fender must reach out past the tire and have “x” number of signal lights and reflectors. That’s why the fender eliminators are so popular with the SS crowd.

After riding all the other 114s then riding the 107 in a bike with ”Sport” right in its name made me wonder why they didn’t offer it...I think if they made a Sport Glide S with the 114 and dual disks they’d have an awesome bike on their hands. I was really surprised how much I liked it.

A black Sport Glide with top load bags, dual disks, in a 114 and I would be very tempted. I love those wheels. I've never used clamshell bags but they look very limited for use. It looks very practical, traditional, and performance orientated. Strangely enough you don't hear about them often.
