MC’s in Chicago... Educate and advise me...

This has got to be the stupidest question I have seen on this forum....are you really thinking that anyone from a real club would come onto a public forum and discuss what happens at church? Give your head a shake....
i was a prospect for awhile and no i am not saying which club....but it is not what you think, or how tv or movies portrays it. I was lucky and was able to walk away, but once your in, your life is no longer your own....think about that.
stick with your riding buddies, you Will be much better off......

**Sigh** It is kinda like Fight Club, the first rule being you don't talk about the MC to those not in the MC. Nobody, in a 1% MC is going to come on here and identify themselves as such, never mind talk about it. . .
You are going to get hateful responses and bashing because it is a serious faux pas to even ask about that stuff in person unless you have been invited to ask those questions.
If you are indeed being recruited then 2 quick things 1) Ask that person/sponsor while being open and honest with them about what you are looking for and 2) Don't go relaying that information anywhere else -heck, some MC's I've encountered could take great offense at you posting who's recruiting you, where and asking questions in an open forum (some terminal offense).
Non-1% MC's are more than happy to talk but you'll get better information by going to their own website where they usually have a ton of info available. Go to one of their meet & greets, all of them hold them, and see if you click or not and want to ride with them and then evaluate them closely on a ride (I love my friends but have some that ride that I refuse to ride with).
Sounds like you have riding buddies already. If it makes you feel better go get a special patch made for you all to wear. If you want more riding buddies, talk to others who are riding -stop at a biker bar if you really just want drinking buddies.
Either way you go, best of luck to you.

just hang out a lot at any local burger king or country kitchen buffet and you will eventually run into the hog chapters in your area. A good ice breaker is to introduce yourself in the buffet line. Just remember that it is proper protocol to not cut in front of anyone as that could possibly get you a beatdown in the parking lot afterwords. .
