Default Freedom is now the reason?

I guess made in America has gone the way of the Gooney bird as far as the MOCO is concerned.

What's the issue? The fact that Harleys/some parts of Harleys are foreign made? Or that HD Corporate is using that as an advertising gimmick?

The issue for me personally, is the corporate attitude. It has been for a couple decades now.

Man you haven't been paying attention if this is news to you.
It was bad enough during the EVO years but the MOCO has gone stupid with the importing of parts from other countries starting with the Twinkies.
I'm willing to bet they have gone even further off the rails with the M8.

I worked as a Ford tech for a few years...the parts boxes generally said "made in Mexico" Another cool thing was opening parts for a Mercury Villager. I would open the "Ford" labeled box to find the "Nissan" labeled box. yeah, that was a waste of cardboard...

Plus, the really important foreign parts like bearings are JUNK, and really hurt the quality of the product.
