A guy today in northern Michigan got 3 1/2 to 15 years for causing a crash that resulted in the death of 2 motorcyclists. He was texting and hit a car waiting to turn and it hit the bike. I think the accident happened last July.

 

yeah, 3-1/2 to 15 sounds good in theory (well, no it doesn't) but the reality is that he'll probably get closer to the 3-1/2, and then with time served, and some probation, he'll probably be out walking the streets really soon.
