Costco has free nitrogen all day long fill my car tires and portable tank for airplane and bike. don’t see much advantage in plane because not much heat build up. Riding hard on bike or car, big difference, could never be competitive in a race car with out it. Air is just to unpredictable on spring rate. NASCAR teams even dry their nitrogen.

I didn't read the whole thread. Has anyone addressed where you put the valve stem cap when filling the tire?

When nitrogen is produced in a distilation column, air separation, it is completely dry.
I would imagine that is what the NASCAR teams are using.

If free.... yes, go ahead and use Nitrogen.
If not free.... no, not enough benefits over "pump" air.

There are no cons.
Pros include:
Ni machine/ cylinders are filtered gas with less H2O aiding in more tire pressure stability.
Ni has larger molecules which aids in reducing pressure leakage.
Ni helps slow the breakdown of rubber.

Good luck in your decision.
Just gotta love Harley branded Nitrogen.

My rational for using N is that oxygen carries water. This trapped water can't be good for TPMS batteries. I get it from CostiCo too. So, the price is right.
