Just want to ride...
So tired of opinions in the motorcycle world...
i ride a Harley because I think it’s a great looking bike. I don’t ride to try and be cool or a exceptionally tuff. I ride for fun because it’s hard to be on two wheels and not have a slight grin from the rumble and freedom that can’t be found on four wheels. I ride 100 mile round trip to work in horrible traffic because I get home 45 minutes faster and I get to play in the twisties and have a little fun to help unwind from work. My bikes rack up 10,000 + every year.
i wear a leather vest because it’s a little extra protection between me and the road and I hate when my shirt blows up on me. Again not trying to be Jax from SOA but just like the look and function.
i wear biker head gear and beanies under my novelty helmet and my full face. I do this because I’m a hat guy and no other reason. I got a hundred hats for a hundred reasons. The only time I don’t have head covering is in my house or in a court room. Not wearing head gear to be a bad a$$ just like to wear head gear.
Chaps or Snowboard pants have been my choice when I ride under 40°.
Now back to opinions about how I roll... I don’t care about any of them... why? Because every time I’m on my scoot life’s just a little better and no one’s opinion is going to change tha
Now let’s all shut the f?!k up and go ride!

100 hats? Geez... I mean, I like a hat... but I got maybe three or four. Maybe 7 if you include those stupid bandanna thingys (yeah, "stupid", I can say that 'cos I do wear them under a helmet; they do help collect sweat, but they's still silly things)
But too, yeah, the rest of it is about right - except that you cared enough to post it.
If you wanna wear a leather vest, go for it (I wear one with a long sleeve shirt under it), full gear, mid-gear, full face, modular, normal boots or steel-toed boot ---- all your own choice.
I wear what I choose to wear, ride what I want to ride... and don't give a rodent's rectum what other people think.
(Last weekend I hired a Goldwing and rode the **** out of it in the Pennines..... North East UK Great Rides)
Life is FAR too short to spend more than a few minutes of it worrying about what other people think of you, unless they mean something to you (the only person I gave a lot of care what she thought of me is gone forever)
marcos shoes - "100" Meh... LOL!
