Sold my 2016 low rider today!

Sold my low rider 2016 today and I will never buy new again. I'll buy a good used bargain and let someone else take a 60 % + hit on resale value !

Well, alrighty then.

MikeBel 11-07-2018 08:18 PM

If you hadn't sold it, you'd be taking a 0% hit. Sounds like you'd have been better off keeping it and riding it. Why did you sell?

Strugatsio 11-07-2018 08:26 PM

I remember that bike. Somebody got a good deal. I grew up in Jeffersonville and surely would have given it a hard look. I would have loved to have it.

Not so much a "Thanks" from me, but acknowledgement that I agree.

Oh, and no shit Sherlock...

Did you let a dealer sell it? And why did you choose to let it go?

Haven't road anything above an 06,so not sure what I'm missing if anything

Were you financed at 25% also?

You sound surprised/pissed off that a new vehicle would lose value after it left the dealership.
So you sold a bike you bought new because it had depreciated? Now you want to buy a used one that you really know nothing about its history. There's some gaps in the logic, so forgive me if I don't follow.

If you took a 60% hit in two years, you sold it way too cheap or paid way too much new. Resale on that bike is about $12500 per KBB.
I don't think you paid $31250 for it new, did you?
