Planning on calling them about the seat on my Tri-Glide.
Need the "tailbone" channel mod as we as extra padding and heat.
I'm just not sure of the difference between the memory foam and the gel seats as far as all day comfort.

I've read dozens of reviews and seriously can not think of a single one that was negative. I've exchanged a few e-mails with them and they have offered several suggestions to cure my "problem". They have earned my confidence with their knowledge and great customer support and I intend to use them this off-season to modify my Ultra seat.

I had a seat redone by them and it was a night and day difference. Very comfortable.

To mod my stock RGS seat, I was quoted roughly $300 plus ad in the shipping costs...say $360 total or so.

I bought a solo seat and pillion from C&C for $525 shipped. Going aftermarket was more than worth it and it didn’t cost anywhere near double.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read lots of good things about MCC’s work, but I also read quite a few times that people weren’t that happy after a bit and bought new seats anyway. I had already owned a seat from C&C so I knew what to expect. From MCC, it was a crap shoot in my situation.

I had my stock seat lowered, and narrowed for a better foot plant. I also had MCC do a burnt red diamond stitch on the seat to give it that custom look.

You may want to look locally first to see if a local upholstery shop (or auto upholstery) can do the work (easier, can bring seat in to chat etc)

If you ever plan to sell your ride (and are altering the stock seat), you may want to purchase a 2nd stock seat and have that modded, as a new owner might not like or appreciate your seat mods. YMMV

I almost pulled the trigger on a MC mod years ago, but to move backwards, stock seatpan wouldn't allow it despite anything else MC could do. Also, by the time I paid all the shipping etc (and the mod) it was pushing $100-200 which could easily be put into a new seat.

Good luck OP

frustrating to pay for an aftermarket seat and then to pay even more to have it modded.
True, my only defense is I bought the seat used for a great price, so the cost was easier to deal with.

They have a really nice pic gallery in FB. Search on them and go their FB site and there is plenty to see with great ideas.
