Just askin'or sayin !
Harley has repeated the same thing back when they got into trouble and sold to AMF who bought Harley and screwed it up. Harley doesn't listen to their customers. They defy the traditional customers and the defy the traditional Harley image and name and jump into markets out of desperation to compete with jap and foreign bikes. Then when their desperation causes them to drop lines that were once popular they get into trouble. Tradition is another phrase " what goes around comes around" but when you get desperate and make radical changes to try to compete with the cheap bikes but try to keep your prices high because your name is Harley , you sure the hell have not done anything to justify the Harley name or tradition !! Should end with question marks to pose this topic as a question ?????????????????

Well I have read this more than once and think I understand what you are trying to say. The problem with your thought process is things are changing! The world is changing FAST whether we like it or not. Any company regardless of what they make or sell has to be evolving daily and looking to the future or they will DIE. I for one want to see HARLEY survive and thrive. I don’t really have a say on their direction moving forward except with my purchase $$$$$ but I am sure if they were doing everything exactly today that they were doing just 15 years ago they would be DEAD. Embrace the future and enjoy the ride.

I have a lot to thank HD for. I absolutely love our bikes and have no desire to change. Getting older, 65, I realize my riding years are numbered. But when Kim and I get to ride to the places we do I’m eternally thankful. Kim’s is the silver bike.
