My bikes never knew the difference either.

I don’t notice any difference with how my bike’s have ran (both FI). Hot or cool weather, my RGS runs great. I check MPG every time I fill up just to keep an average in my mind and it doesn’t change unless I’m twisting the throttle more.

When the leaves have fallen I can see in your back yard and I always look in open garages. I have bought quite a few vehicles that way. One guy was shocked I could ID the vehicle from the small part of it that was showing.
Love the Fall!!!. I'm a little OCD. Love finding stuff. Ever own vehicles twice????

I could always tell a difference in the performance of my Panhead, Shovelheads and even this FLSTC. They all ran a little smoother, pulled a little harder and just felt better. Maybe it's just because the engine is running a little bit cooler I don't know, I just know that they all felt like they were running better when it was colder. Maybe I just have a more sensitive *** and can feel what the bike is doing better than the average guy. Truthfully I never researched it any deeper than that.

Yeah, yeah, carbed bikes like the cold air better. every engine benefits from colder, denser air but my favorite thing about fall and winter riding: little or NO bugs.

Yes OP has a point about fall weather...engines run better...+1

Now leaves on the road, "fogging" face shields/ glasses, and wind chill...well maybe not so better.

Fall? What Fall?
We didn't get one here in VT this year. No idea if mine runs better in the cold. At 5 degrees F this morning, I have no intention of finding out
