I have a separate wallet (very thin) that I keep inspection, registration and insurance info for all my bikes. Don't leave home without it.

Always wear the same jacket, so jacket pocket.

Santa is bringing me a 2nd jacket, so I'll have to figure that one out...either copies or on the bike somewhere.

Wondering out loud...for you guys who store it on the bike....does it ever cross your mind that a thief can now know where this bike lives?

Yes, I carry insurance, but I like my bike and would not have to be forced into building another because I made it just a little bit easier for some ruthless lowlife to swipe mine.

Thanks

I have insurance cards in my wallet and a copy of insurance/registration and AMA Roadside Assistance cards in zippered compartment in tour pack lid organizer...along with my I-Pass transmitter.

I have one of those "ID Holders" like people have on the back of their cell phones stuck to the inside of my saddlebag lid. My registration and proof of insurance is folded up and inside that holder

Thanks for all of the replies. I have been riding sport bike since I was 16, and I always kept it under the seat in a little bag / tool pouch.

However, since switching to HDs a few months ago, I am rocking a Dyna. Given the new setup, I found myself at a loss of where to keep these docs.

I work at a Florida law firm that specialized in motorcycle injuries, and we actually give out little ID / insurance card holders at bike events, poker runs, etc. with the firm's contact info. As of late, a lot of the non-bagger guys have been asking for smaller holders. The holders we have are currently ~ 4" x 3" when closed.

I just wanted to see where everyone is currently carrying their cards / registration so we can come up with a solution.

Thank you all for your help!!!
