How does HD brand leather typically fit?

Now that I'm thinking about it, the Harley jackets don't fit as small as the Olympia and TourMaster jackets that I tried on. I had to go up at least one size from H-D sizes, on those.

You guys are all giving good advice; thank you for that. I'm watching the gear section here as well as FB marketplace locally (that might work out to try one on first) as well as EBay. I think I'm going to look for 2XL if I can't try it first. Thanks so much for all your input!

HD leathers PROBABLY won’t be tight due to the fact that you won’t have to save room for a bulky wallet; it’ll be nice and empty.

Thats fixable if you look online for used Harley jackets and get one for half the price of new .

Can be done. I got an unused FXRG on craigslist for $125, same jacket barely used, for my wife on ebay for $150. It just took patience and watching the sites for several months. Fortunately, we were in no hurry, were only going to buy them if the price was right.
