I don't like the way the shop has the routed the battery tender cable on my bike. Does any one have a picture of where their cable is hanging outside of the bike. Not looking for any fancy hookup, just want to position it so it out of the way of the exhaust, and also not rubbing on any of the painted or chrome parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There it is. Nothing fancy, just the wire zip tied to the crash bar and the plug sticking up.

 

 

The service manual shows how to route it, if you have one.

 

Can't get a pic just now, but I ran mine behind the battery box, hanging down above the transmission. Can get a pic later if you want it.

 

Zip tied to the lower part of the saddlebag guard, out of the way but easy to connect. Not a great photo but here you can see it connected...

 

I route mine under the tank, along the throttle cables, and up to the handlebars. I use it for USB and for the Battery Tender. For USB it carries the full voltage through the thick and durable wires.

 

Mine's routed from the battery to just to the left of front of seat....easy access and seat "fuzzy-wuzzy" hides it.

 

Mine goes from the battery, along the top of the frame, and pulls out from under the seat at the rear of the battery cover.

 

It's not Rocket Science.
