BMW Enthusiasts: What do you call a Harley Rider?
The Content Team at HDForums just came across this thread in the BMW LT Forum: What Do You Call a Harley Rider? Yes, they are having some fun with us, and, yes, a lot of them are even fans of Harley, but BMW riders are fair game, too, so let's have some good fun firing back at the BMW Luxury Touring Community!

Two completely different bikes with in most cases......two completely different types of owners. As a Harley enthusiast, I will not stoop to their low and even entertain their thread. Both bikes have 2 wheels and as such the riders should respect their choice in the bikes that they ride. I have always been on Harley's and enjoy the Harley community. I have to admit though, that while I will acknowledge most all bikes on the road, BMW owners are the worst at ignoring Harleys and not reciprocating

Picking on one or the other is a double loss for me!
Different machines for different purposes. I like to put it like this...
If you want to ride from Chicago to San Diego and stop at all the scenic turn offs, shop at all the antique stores, take pics along the rivers, and generally have a good time on the journey...take the Harley. If you absolutely need to make the trip and be there as quickly as possible...take the Beemer.
They are both capable in handling either role well but it just sorta fits better this way.
