The parking facing down an incline also bugs me. You can do it with a Harley with the locking jiffy stand. Borrow your buddy's BMW and do it with the bike in neutral and will be picking it up. If I have to park on an incline I always face uphill but I look for a level spot. Harley has the best sidestands in the business but sometimes I wish they had centerstands.

Yea I never park facing down hill, especially if I have to back up to get out of the space. HD Jiffy stands are good until you throw a spring..then it goes limp and drags on the pavement. Bungee cords held up many of mine until I could pop another spring on.
I also "snick" gear changes, no need to stomp on the lever. Speaking of gear changes, how about the nimrods who stomp down to first at 25 mph while slowing to a stop. You can hear the cogs banging in agony.

Wow! I’ve never looked over another biker close enough to notice this.

The one very bad habit I see guys do is ride and talk to the biker next to them for long Conversations .

Using only their mirrors when making a lane change. No head check.

Or thinking it makes them look cool. Or badass. Or whatever.

Most people I know wear them for the wind noise.

By far the biggest error i see is over drinking and smoking alittle to much. I've seen guys fall over and get up and fall on the other side. Way to wasted to ride, but yet they ride anyway. I have been guilty of this myself , but not so much anymore. Nothing more dangerous than someone who thinks they are a good rider when they are not. This will get you killed. Stomping on the shifter and revving a cold engine just makes me cringe. At least the last one won't kill you.

When I'm riding in a group I would prefer the guy behind me to keep his distance . Even though he may be in a staggered formation , his front tire is close enough to clip my rear if I had to swerve for any reason .
