Idiot sighting on CL? Say it isn't so...
IDK if this is legit and only spotted this looking for information for another thread on the forum

Yes, I'm selling my 3 month old Harley Davidson Street Glide. I paid $24,800 for the bike at a local HD dealership. I purchased more than $3,500 in custom accessories for the bike. That's over $28,500 I have in this bike. Selling for $20,000. This bike is loaded with Boom Box 4.3 Large Screen Navigation and Radio, ABS braking for safety, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and Factory Security Alarm System with Siren and Pager. The bike only has 519 miles on it. I put the amazingly comfortable Mustang Custom Seat which is an awesome addition to this bike. Factory seats are horrible and very hard. Ride as many miles as you'd like with no butt pain with this seat. I had the dealership install the unbelievable bright DayMaker LED Headlight. Lights up the road at night turning night into day. Also had the true Harley sound only a set of Cobra Slip On Pipes can produce installed. Man, does this bike sound great. Not too loud. Just right. It has been garage kept since bringing her home last month. Factory warranty remains through July 2020. Bike is flawless. Perfect showroom condition. If you want to pick up a brand new Street Glide and save yourself $8,500...THIS IS THE BIKE FOR YOU!

Life throws us all curveballs; big life events and illness makes these things happen often. My 30 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer this past summer; damn straight id sell my bike for a big loss to help if had no other means. Always more to the story

well, the price is okay.
i guess the idiot part is buying the bike brand new 3 months ago, dumping a **** ton of cash into it (probably letting the dealer do all the work too), putting 500 miles on it and selling it already? oh, and not to mention he doesn't know the difference between 4.3'' and 6.5'' on the boom entertainment... and wtf is a 'swayback' license plate?
guess maybe the street glide was a bit faster than all the tractors he's got on his channel and scared him

Yet my dealer seems to have a bike in stock with this history all the time.
The last time in it was a CVO Road Glide that a returning rider bought and sold back in a matter of weeks.

I think he's just being realistic. "Yes, I'm selling my 3 month old Harley Davidson Street Glide. I paid $24,800 for the bike at a local HD dealership. I purchased more than $3,500 in custom accessories for the bike. That's over $28,500 I have in this bike."
The next line from the typical CL seller would be "I'm going let it go for the screaming deal of $27,995!"
Those of us who always buy used appreciate these people.
