Took delivery of my Slim in Feb this year and have just clocked 3000 km's Absolutely thrilled with it having been a devotee to the 1200 Custom sporty before that. Yes, I don't do as much riding as I can, but compare that with the Missus who has a early 2000's 883 Hugger with less than 3,500 km's on the clock. In fact four years ago I had to have the engine stripped and serviced for standing so long - and that before the first run-in service. Even now it has not had the 4,000 km service yet. Isn't that sad

We have nice roads and nice venues to ride to. Out to Northwest Province and the bear route. Mpumulanga and its legendary roads and wild life. Freestate and Golden Gate. Super weather too did you ride while visiting?

 

Love the Slim .. .. If I didn't ride two up sometimes , I'd buy one !! Congrats !
