I'm reading on the Rushmore bikes there is a factory battery pigtail for a battery tender. I dont see anything under either side cover or under the seat. Any other ideas where it might be located? I bought the bike used so I suppose it could have been removed but I thought it was incorporated into the wiring harness. Seems like it would be more of a PITA to remove it than its worth.
It's part of the harness, depends on where the p/o or dealer routed it. We typically route it on the left side between the fender support and the saddlebag on baggers. Sometimes people will run them straight down above the transmission and try to conceal them.

Yep, that's where mine was on the '16 RGU I bought last year. Couldn't find it, had to phone the PO and he told me to look on the left side towards the rear of the tank. Barely sticking down and was difficult to connect to and I got it moved.

Found it. Was staring me in the face Looked different than what I was expecting. Sure makes things easier than taking the seat off. Thanks for the replies
Factory pigtail on my '13 Road Glide is on the right side on the frame just in front of the cover. Maybe you'll have to access your battery , locate the connections and follow them down to the plug . Then you can route as you see fit.
Ya its attached on the bottom of the frame, No digging around. Really easy to hook up a charger.
Sounds like its one of the new designs on the Rushmore bikes.
+1 for Harley making things easy on this one.
