Man, I can feel your pain. Why is it, if we drop one everybody is watching? Well, stop lights, you can't help it.
I remember when I got my RK and was learning how to ride a heavy weight class bike. Easy to do if you let it get just a little bit out of balance. I laid it over at a hardware store when parking. My wife knew about it before I got back home. Damn it.

OP look’it the flood gates your post opened! E’er body fessin on their drops!

So my turn. Be extra careful turning along sloped surfaces. I banked to make kinda sharp turn in sloped lot. If tires are on low side of slope, don’t lean the bike as you would on level ground. Ax me how I no.

Look at the bright side, now you've got that first one out of the way you can enjoy the bike without worrying about it. Stuff happens partner.

There is a difference between laying it dwn and falling over.
Don't EVER lay it dwn !
Falling over?
It happens to the best of us .
Count it as experience for the next time.

Back in the day, motor training involved riding to San Francisco and making both uphill and downhill midblock u turns on one of the city's famous steep streets. Do it wrong and you will go down hard. Full lock U-turns on sloped surfaces was also part of basic motor training.

No biggie, but it finished my evening is pretty poorly.
I confess I did that once, nobody looking though just hurt my pride

Back in my Motor days, early one cold morning bike wasn't really warmed up good. Met a violator and started my U turn on a down hill slope, as I started into the U turn, the bike stumbled choked and quit. So midway in the turn with no power, it just fell over on its side. I got up dusted off and stood bike back up. Violator saw it in his rear view and came back to check on me.....nice of him to share my shame...thanked him and let them off with warning on speed.
One other time we were working speed in a rural school zone. Stopped violator with no shoulder on roadway. Parked behind violator with bike in almost straight upright position due to condition of road. Walked up to talk to violator as a truck drove by. Coming the other way was my partner who was laughing. I looked back at my bike and it was gone from sight. Wind from passing truck had blown it over onto its side where it turned over into the ditch. Broken brake handle and scratched crash bars.....violator left with ticket for 15 over in school zone.
