Default Today I told Cancer to Get Screwed

I have been dealing with Cancer since Sept 2018 and had not been on my bike for longer than a quick ride to the dealership for the clutch recall. Today it was a beautiful day in the low 60's and even though I was weak due to chemo and ability to eat, I told Cancer to get screwed and went for a ride. It was great to get out of the house, off the recliner, out of bed....I was weak but made it and it gave me confidence for future rides and something to keep looking forward to.....hopefully a day where my cancer is in remission and I can take the trips that are on my bucket list. If you know someone suffering from Cancer, pray for them and encourage them to keep fighting.

Prayers for you brother.

When I was in chemo, the couple of rides I was able to do were better than anything else.

You’ll beat it. Stay strong.

Keep up the fight. I fought it for 3 years and it keep coming back. Finally I yielded to a major surgery which took a year to feel decent and another 6 months to feel normal again...or as close to normal as I will get. My 2 year Anniversary from surgery is coming in March and I was able to put on 4000 miles this summer even with all the rain and a slow cautious start. But Im back cancer free minus a couple of organs and a rebuild....life is good again. Prayers sent and stay positive! Not easy at times but you will win!
