In the long run, the HI-vis cost you $180 - why not just buy it now for a $55 discount?

Have not looked at them at the dealers; however, for that price, they should automatically put themselves on like the Iron Man suit when it starts raining.
Performance textiles are AWESOME. They are expense to develop and produce, but the advantages they offer are worth it if you can afford the price.

Schoeller makes some AWESOME products. Yes this HD suite is expensive. Yes I have the Hi Viz and use it and it works very well. However if I could afford this new suite it would be in my saddle bag.

The wife and I have really began to embrace the technology. From our underwear, base layers, outer layers, gloves, rain gear and helmets. It is expensive and we add a piece or two each season and it has greatly improved our riding enjoyment.

There is an organization here in NC that i have visited and toured more than once. They work with these companies to develop, test and create the manufacturing processes. They have made a believer out of me.

I go back to when we were more avid snow skiers. Once we started buying the better gear our enjoyment increased. I went mainly with Spider and my wife with Bogner. Our ski suites combined were close to $3k total. But while out friends were freezing or did not want to get out, we were enjoying the slopes. We still have them after 15 years, still in great condition and still work. But I am sure todays technology runs circles around them.

From a comfort standpoint this new HD from Schoeller would be much better.
