Yes,I let some of my close friends ride my bike.Question 2-depends who it is.Last year stopped at a local watering hole, come out and see some drunk sitting on my bike, asked him to get off nicely,he gave me some lip, threw him off my ultra against the bar wall,2 weeks later I stop in there again and he's accusing me of breaking his shoulder, told him next time I'll break both of your shoulders and your neck thats when the owner stepped in and threw him out.

I have not let anyone ride the new rice rocket, there are only a couple of friends I would trust with it, only because most of my HD riding buddies would not be used to the seating position/controls/ 150+ HP and 10 second 1/4 mile ability.....
My Harleys I will let people I know can ride use, and I encourage them to try them out.
My friend and HD mechanic I use up north has the keys to my house in Florida ( he has a house around the corner) and when he is there he is encouraged to take whatever bike is there out for a ride.
WHen the bike transporter came to gt my 03 right after Christmas and drop off the 13, as soon as the bike was out of the trailer Bob hopped on it and took off.... the transporter was confused but I told him my friend was one of the few people I would hand a loaded gun to so he was trusted to take the bike too.
We have a Motorcycle Night in Lowell MA every tesday in the summer.
You will see families walking around with small children , and the kids are looking at the bikes.
As long as the pipes are cold, I will tell Mom or Dad they can put the kid on my bike and take a picture.
in 20 years I have never had a problem, no damage, and it builds a good rapport with the community.

1. No adults have ever asked but have let plenty of kids sit on it.
2. Yes, my brothers who are both competent riders. Would let anyone else I personally know to be a competent rider of a large touring bike. It's insured, they're insured and it's just a bike even though it's a cvo road glide. I'd let many of my patriot guard brothers take it if their bikes were down and they wanted to do a mission and I was working (I'm one of a few that aren't retired yet). I also lend my tools and my other vehicles (probably wouldnt do that if I depended in them for my livelihood). It's just my nature.
