Show me the electric Road King model that can get 175+ miles on a charge, then I'll be interested.

Convert one (or both) of the RK saddlebags into a back-up battery holder to increase range.

Blend the old with the new to make everyone happy.
If I ever purchase another crotch rocket looking bike it will be another Hayabusa and I will ask any Livewire riders that want to race if they want to follow me up to 205mph?

There are already better electric bikes for a great deal less. Heck why didn't HD make it look like this one (for 1/5th the price)?

Same thing they do with gas Harleys...
Nah - the garage queen owners bought their Harleys for instant tough guy street cred. These electric bikes won't do that and they won't convey any green cred either. Looks to me like HD had to almost intentionally contrive to fail on this project. They missed every single important feature you would want in an electric bike: No cargo capability. It doesn't even look like you can even add any cargo capability on to it. Mediocre range. On board charger is too slow to be practical on a trip. Doesn't appeal to any identifiable demographic group. Way too expensive. And looks kinda shitty too. Must have been designed by a focus group of non-riders.

Daily Slideshow: We head to the Harley-Davidson forums to find out if real riders plan on buying the first all-electric Harley - the LiveWire.

I would like to Work with HD to test this platform as a traveling Bike, currently traveling the USA in a Mercedes Sprinter with a Fatboy in the back, towing an Airstream and riding all around the USA staying in campgrounds with 30 amp service, it would be great to charge the bike and ride, the way we ride is different then when we are at home,
shorter rides with less stuff not to mention that the quiet ride will probably not scare the Bison into charging like the sound of the 96” through Rhinehart 2-1 exhaust as we started the bike in Custer State Park, Close Call!

Harley should buy that company and start stamping "Harley Davidson" on the faux gas tank...
